Type K

Type K is my take on the ergo layout that was popularised by the TGR Alice.

The key differences to the latter are:

  • 10 degree bend angle as opposed to 12

  • 3u spacebar support (with 2u + 1u split options)

  • the addition of a 4th macro key to the left column

  • right shift size changes to allow for the board to be dimensionally symmetrical.

The assembly and styling draw heavily from the 7V but also takes cues from the iconic TV series - Knight Rider, with LED lighting that resembles the lights found on K.I.T.T from the show
